Anyone know how to buy a Celtic account nowadays I bought a cloud server from one cloud deployed installed xrdp and registered went to pay it said we detected your using a vpn any ideas guys thanks

I believe the celtic site uses a list of known vpn providers/servers and blocks them from signing up.

Few workarounds.

1. Go to any country outside of the UK and signup.
2. Ask a friend in another country to buy the account.
3. On your international server install openvpn as a full proxy, and use that (google is your friend).

NOTE: option 3 may work but not guaranteed.
It all depends on how clever the IT guys are who control the celtic tv site.

Once signed up never connect to the celtic tv account from a uk ip address ad it will get banned.

number 2 is the only realistic option , even then your going to have to deal with drm

so you going to be capping with some sort of encoding software , then you have to deal with the fingerprints

off curse now celtic TV have many controls and finger print , my advice your account it banned max after 2 games lol , that is why many guys tried but most of them giveup
but anyway try maybe you go it !!!!!

sure me too ,, there are non drm/hls streams on the go just now ,, the point is when the vst finishes you its back to drm which needs decryption keys for widevine

if you cracked that then good luck to you and well done

I don't ever use restreamed SPFL channels as they are my main source of income, reliability is my game my SPFL channels are direct from source and monitored throughout.

If you know what your doing then getting rid of the fingerprint is really easy and does not take any special software.

No need to mess around with the DRM, let them encrypt the stream, thats just fine.

Getting the stream is easy enough if you have a space computer laying around and more than say 3mbit upload speed on your home internet connection.

You can build a nice little GPU encoding server for under £150 and it will run multiple streams nicely.

Why do you think there are so many crappy old computers laying around when people get raided........ ebay is your friend.

getting the stream is easy sure , but its encrypted and needs keys to decryption
as posted above it can be done with bento4 and ffmpeg that is not in question .... the method has been around for a while

its obtaining the keys that is the issue for most


also for sure most people are getting non drm hls streams just now ,, so not really an issue at the moment
its when they go back to drm only then it becomes a problem for most .. you only have to look back to last year when most people didnt have celtictv as a service because they dont know the drm system


my whole point in this thread is not about how to encode the the stream and re-stream , thats of no interest to me and anyone can do that
its understanding the drm and how it works
