On ubuntu 16.04 you will install all php 5.6 neded.

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y
apt-get install -y language-pack-en-base
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 add-apt-repository ppandrej/php

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y
apt-get install lsb-release nscd curl php5.6 php5.6-mysql php5.6-cli php5.6-curl unzip -y && apt-get install php5.6-mcrypt && php5.6enmod mcrypt
service apache2 restart

I am geting installed but as i told when its finished i cant acseses on ip:8000 i am geting eror conection refused and i realy dont know how to solve that

think its not connecting to the DB is your mysql running at this point ? maybe change script to install mariadb-server instead of mysql-server i can not code maybe someone can have a look in to it

I Will try that to, now i setup evrithing on streaminy and make ready to change clients DNS couple staff left its good way to go.

cool as i was at the same point not connecting on port 8000 after full install i found mysq wasnt running so i installed mariadb-server on top of the insatll used the same password and the Connect Error: Connection refused changed to something about usermane but i didnt get any further than that hopefully another step in the rite direction keep me posted

ok passed the port problem now when logging it it just says
Wrong Captcha Provided
or
Login Failed
im using root as user rite ? then the password is your admin password on install

Like I thought it wasn't talking to the DB so tried installing mariadb-server first that got me passed the port problem not sure how far anybody's got to getting this working on ubuntu 16.04 as im now at login screen but fails cart login so if anybody has got this far let me know as I might just be wasting my time
