If you don't have one then do this:
sudo passwd root
and get urself an root password.

man i know my password for root,i also put it but always get error and ask me againg for sudo password for xtream codes
after restart ubuntu break on boot,installation files not ok

with all due respect no it isnt. i have had this problem throughout almost every build i tried, and its never the root password unless it asks for the root password very clearly instead of xtreamcodes: user

so i ask you guys again, why is it so clearly not working for the majority of us and you guys say it is working, beyond frustrating if were reading the same directions and have the same script. same operating system etc.. im starting to really resent the lack of open and honest reporting here.
