What tools are best for hardcoding?

I edit the images I want to size with photo shop and replace them in the decompiled apk before compiling

I prefer Gimp. Fast and easy to resize and export to different file formats.

APK editor - light X and packet sniffer on Android phone. Apktool - gimp and Android studio on pc along with notepad ++. Most important tool is your brain and you should also learn the API calls to the panel as it will help you decypher what's actually happening within the app your trying to hardcode.

How do you replace the images before compiling? I see about 4 folders with the images in them. Do you replace the images in every folder or is there a way to do it by replacing only 1 picture like in APK Editor Pro?

Also, I notice when hardcoded Smarters and added all of my logos, it still shows the original apps logo. This seems to happen if I had the original app installed on the same device. If I installed the app on a new device then it will show the new logo I added. I sell multiple IPTV services so my customers will have all of the apps installed sometimes. How do I fix that?

Where do I learn the API calls, is there anything specific I would google to find that information? I really appreciate your reply!

I'm using apk easy tool and sometimes apk editor studio
make sure you have notepad ++
