Hi is there away to downgrave v2 to v1.6 or using mysql dumps to use 1.6 and upload all useres etc

Change the structure of the database to fit the old frame

yes it can be a rather time consuming task if you have todo it by hand and not auto

for anyone looking to try there hand at doing it i suggest you download and install notepad++ then open the new and old db.sql files and click alt-D on windows to compare both files side by side as you make your edits so you can see what needs changed and where. This should limit the amount of mistakes you make or can make.

if you know python i would suggest using regex replace to grab and change what you need in the files and then you can save and upload it.

I Think it go's with out saying this could cause some issues if you make a mistake that would require you clearing the db and re uploading so make sure you all ways have 2 or more copies of your databases as a back up
