I have the 3.0.1 working perfectly but with a twist, your url is hidden into the smali files using java.

So lets say this was your url: http://yoururl.tk:8080 it then adds the api script and converts it to something like this:

That's how I have mine for 3.0.1. I've got a python script that generates the info.
