Question XUI One EPG

Hi Guys
playing around with XUI One as looking to migrate from XtreamUI

I have added a known working XML file for EPG in my Documents folder and set it up in EPG
as follows:
EPG Name: Local
Location: /home/xui/Documents/guide.xml

clicked on Force reload but no channels appear

I have tried different folder locations and also CHMOD the xml to 777 just in case but no difference

Is my syntax above wrong? or what am i doing workng?

from my understanding the EPG needs to come from a HTTP link, place it into the wwwdir folder, then link to it http://yourdomainorip/guide.xml

Already tried that. My server is local so I placed file in WWW folder

http://127.0.0.1/guide.xml

but same happens
also tried with the local IP address instead of 127.0.0.1

Separately,
I tried an external file from open EPG and it loads it, finds the channels but the EPG icon on the channel is still ORANGE and no EPG appears for it.
I browsed the xml file and there is data

Yeah probably XUI isnt able to access your local one.

Way to add it is like this.

Add XML under EPG, Force Refresh Wait.

Find channel Edit channel add EPG to it, Reboot Channel.

Force Reload EPG, wait a while and it will show.

if after you have done that and it doesnt show run from SSH the following

sudo -u xui /home/xui/bin/php/bin/php /home/xui/crons/epg.php

You are absolutely spot on mate.
forced reload EPG again after adding to channel and it now shows.
Shame it cannot access a local file. I assume the same will be for channel logos .

Hello, XUI needs an HTTP source.

You can create a simple script by using wget to your www folder and using 127.0.0.1/exampleEPG.xml.
