I wanted to open a discussion about the current situation with CDNs and Cloudflare blocking.
Many of us are facing the same issue — accounts getting blocked almost daily, even though we’re rotating across more than 25 Cloudflare accounts. Unfortunately, Cloudflare still remains the most efficient and cost-effective option available, but the recent blocking and throttling campaigns have made things very unstable.
Building a private CDN could theoretically solve the issue, but the cost would double since it’s equivalent to running the same number of servers again — which isn’t a realistic option for most of us.
So here’s the question:
What’s the best way to bypass these Cloudflare blocking campaigns?
Are there alternative CDN solutions that offer similar performance and protection without doubling the cost?
Have any of you tried hybrid setups (like partial Cloudflare, partial direct routing) or custom cache layers that worked well in specific countries?
The situation is that some countries work perfectly with Cloudflare, while others face severe slowdowns or complete blocking.
I’d really love to hear your experiences, setups, and ideas so we can collectively find practical ways to overcome the current blocking issues and keep things running smoothly for everyone.
