Question Help with XUI Remote Connection

Hey all,

I am new to this side of things. I have some questions about the panel that I dont seem to grasp and would love some help. Forgive me if this is something that is available information. I did spend the week trying to find a solution. I might not be searching for the right thing.

Before I start I do want to say I am just using the vps ip and no ssl during testing.

I have a vps I am testing xuione on. I installed it works fine. I was able to add some streams from publicly available sources to test(direct streams). I did install the webplayer access code and that works. I am able to see the streams and they work fine.

I have been trying to connect using various apps like tivimate and others. I can not connect to the server. To be frank I don't even know what url, other than the ip, to put into the app. I been around reselling and know its always been the url followed by something (ie htt_p://domain/stream). Is there a default url I can use or do I need to create a access code to get the stream url? Also, is it because I do not have a LB and just using a main server?

Also, side not question. Any way to automatically link epg to channels? Currently am going one by one searching and adding to each channel.

You need the domain and the port.

http://yoursite.com:[port]

example:

http://yoursite.com:8000

Hello, i am also new to this, But as far as i researched and applied.

Buy Domain, Point it to your ip address, add domain to server manager, Let it propagate and then you can use it in apps
For creating new users, you first have to create Reseller, For that go into access code, create reseller access code and then other stuff like bouquest and catogeries, give permissions in group sections to reseller, and then create a trial package for testing, now login with reseller access code with reseller rights and then create trial, then use the above added url to login.

For epg, go into epg section in management drop down, and add your epg sources there, click force reload and then wait for some seconds to epg to show channels, then click mass edit channels&review, when i edit section, it will auto take the epgs. Hope this answers.
