There is some other problem somewhere, it doesn't work

its for xui one… search on github youtube-dlp and install it.Was some changes from youtube side and youtube-dl need some updates…

tested with xtream ui gta version and I just put the URL of youtube video in stream source not sure if it work with xui.one

Youtube-dl solution for XUI.ONE

First of all you need to update the Youtube-dl that comes by default in XUI.ONE to the version that works without bugs. We know that Google is always updating Youtube's code (script) and there will always be the possibility of blocking the Youtube-dl library, but rest assured that the staff will update and solve it.

Whenever I have something new I will post in this topic here on the forum.

STEP BY STEP

1 - We will need to rename the Youtube-dl binary file that is in the /home/xui/bin directory, it has the name youtube.

sudo rm /home/xui/bin/youtube /home/xui/bin/youtube_old

If you want you can also delete the file. (Choose one of the options)

sudo rm -rf /home/xui/bin/youtube

2 - Now we can update the binary file directly from the Youtube-dl repository on Github.

sudo wget https://github.com/ytdl-patched/yt-dlp/releases/download/2023.02.17.334/yt-dlp -O /home/xui/bin/youtube

This is one of the versions that I've tested collected in other forums and it's working here.

3 - Now let's make the file we downloaded executable with the command below.

sudo chmod a+rx /home/xui/bin/youtube

Ready! With that the script will already be working in XUI.ONE, it is important not to change the name of the file leaving it as it is that the XUI.ONE scripts will look for the binary with that name.

In the panel when you create the Stream in the Source tab you put the Youtube URL only. You no longer need those commands you had in previous versions, just the video URL will work.

I'm Brazilian and I used Google Translate to translate, if you find any errors, it's the translator's.
