Did you even bother to read this topic what was discussed? Read and you will understand why! :)
I have read it. And I didn’t understand. If you can offer something better than do it .

You're coying like a little kid. Are you hoping he'll kneel and beg it or what?

This reply "Did you even bother to read this topic what was discussed? Read and you will understand why! :)" was for @ FenixTV!

Hi, I try to start astra but it keeps throwing me an error:
Code:
Error: bind EADDRINUSE 127.0.0.1:53
     at state.handle.lookup (dgram.js:242:18)
     at process._tickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:63:19)
     at Function.Module.runMain (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:757:11)
     at startup (internal/bootstrap/node.js:283:19)
     at bootstrapNodeJSCore (internal/bootstrap/node.js:622:3)
Emitted 'error' event at:
     at Socket.<anonymous> (/enclose_io_memfs/node_modules/dnsd/server.js:41:44)
     at Socket.emit (events.js:189:13)
     at state.handle.lookup (dgram.js:243:14)
     at process._tickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:63:19)
[... lines matching original stack trace ...]
     at bootstrapNodeJSCore (internal/bootstrap/node.js:622:3)

Sometimes it throws me an error either on port 53 or on port 80.
As if the node wants to use port 53 or 80.
Of course, these ports are occupied by 8 apache and 53 dns.
How to fix it?

I don't know what does you running on which ports on your server. So it's hard to say what's causing your problem.
Simply sent me your fresh minimal installed ubuntu 20.04 server ssh credentials per DM and i will install it for you.

Have you tried to put more than one channel and have you tried it for a maximum of 6 hours without the server not responding?

To be honestly no, but will try it as well. I will post the result.

First, thank you very much for your interest and experimentation

I would think that there is a problem with it. I do not know why it does not work with me, although I have tried it on more than one server. I will try again.

OK. It seems to work for some but not for others.
I did an installation on a freshly installed VPS with Ubuntu 20.04
I copied the /ast folder to the /root location and set the permissions. then navigated to the /ast folder and executed the command:

PHP:
./loader -c,/ast/astra.conf.stream,-p,9091,--license,/ast/license.txt,--debug,--no-stdout

of course the Astra service didn't start and I got this unresponsive message until I stopped it

[ '-c',
'/ast/astra.conf.stream',
'-p',
'9091',
'--license',
'/ast/license.txt',
'--debug',
'--no-stdout' ]

I tried restarting with the same command and got another port error

So does anyone know how to fix this problem, I saw that some of you have had this problem before, how did you fix it?

sudo lsof -i -P -n | grep LISTEN
What did you get out ?

Probably your running bind on your VPS

I really don't understand what is not working, I have tested on this Vultr VPS extremely many software and there were never any problems, after running the command you suggested I got this result:

It seems that both ports 53 and 80 are used by the loader

As you can see both services running on the same port !

Actually that's right, you were right I simply omitted that. Port 53 was occupied by the system and clearly there was no way the loader could work on the same port but now I reinstalled the VPS, freed port 53 and followed the same installation process but the result is the same.

Maybe this version won't work on the VPS !!! or it is already tested by someone on VPS and it works
