I am thinking on something to avoid freezing issues or traffic shaping on my server. Maybe a proxy as well would be good. Anyways, idk how to do none of them.

I'm using a solution with xui which equally splits traffic between 5-6 vps in ovh. Only drawback is you can't see who is watching what.

An hdd can handle only a limited number of users at same time. So i used nvme based ovh vps which costs only 28usd per server. The server will delete the movies after X hours after someone last watches it. So you only need one server which stores movies and a number of vps depending on your number of users.

I'm serving at least 100 users at the same time per server
