All these links that point to Cesar should be changed and redirected to new working link files ..

ye a few corrections need to be made actually for it to work properly...
balancer.py needs to be properly modified
check_geolite.sh as well
functions.php as well (at least geolite part and i would advice to remove the panel autoupdate part as well, who knows what he can do next...)

Installer issue on Ubuntu 20.04 installer:



Grant all privileges to root user in MySQL 8.0. I read starting with MySQL 8 it is no longer possible (implicitly) create a user using the GRANT command. It should be used CREATE USER instead. But since I'm not a developer, I don't know the correct syntax for.

I think problem is related with this part:



May someone of you guys, can fix the installer script and sent it back. So I can update it on the source link.

oh and to add... for Geolite updates to work as it was before functions.php and check_geolite.sh aren't enough... need also change in settings.php...

or maybe creating mirror and just modifying host file to point to the mirror properly (maybe easier than decrypting all those files with all those "echo ..." all around)

I think I was able to fix this specific problem. But I am still getting 502 bad gateway error. That could be an issue on my end, so, someone else should check.

MySQL 8 changed the way you create users.

Replace line 113 with the following two lines.

To view the content, you need to Sign In or Register.

EDIT: That didn't fix everything. It seems the service is still not starting correctly (the error happens pretty soon after the original MYSQL error).
But, someone should still double check me and make sure it isn't just me messing up the installation.

EDIT 2: Looks like the method for creating services in Ubuntu 20 has changed. The script needs to be modified around line 137 where it starts to create the services. This falls outside my expertise though.
