Over the years, XTC has always collaborated with international judicial authorities in order to block the phenomenon of piracy, to identify and stop those who illegally used our platform.
Those judicial authorities, in their sacrosanct activities to fight crime, have always started from the right assumption, which is also the second key concept of the story: THE XTC PLATFORM IS AN ABSOLUTELY LEGAL SOFTWARE.
For these authorities, there has never been any doubt about the legality of the XTC platform, but they have focused their attention, rightly, on the distorted use that some users have made of it and in such cases, XTC has always shown itself to be collaborative in contrasting the crime.
The modus operandi of the Italian authorities, on the other hand, has been, to date, the exact opposite.
It has never attempted to interact with XTC to try to intercept the dozen users, among the more than 2500 who counted the platform before closing, who used it illegally.
XTC has in fact been equated to that ten or so subjects, even placing it at the top of this criminal association.
Anyone who has a minimum of familiarity with the features of the XTC platform and the thousands of other IPTV platforms that try, as uselessly as lawfully, to emulate our product, will find all this paradoxical!

The media coverage of what happened last week is deafening. The good name of XTC, in all the journalistic articles concerning these events, is muddied and trampled on in contrast with the principles of law unanimously recognized and for which no one is guilty until a final sentence.
On rare occasions the media have centered on the question of the nature of XTC and the function that its software performs. Many, including investigators, have confused an IPTV management software with an illegal IPTV. IPTV is a PROTOCOL for transmitting television content over TCP / IP. XTC was nothing more than a piece of software - our original intellectual creation - the best and unsurpassed to date, which took advantage of this protocol to offer unrivaled solutions and services worldwide. IPTV is the future and it is very sad that we have been forced to stop for no good reason. It is as if the Italian authorities are trying to spread the message that IPTV software is illegal
For this reason we have decided to break the silence and denounce the heavy harassment we are undergoing both as XTC and personally, with the awareness that after this story, to which we are totally strangers, nothing will be the same as before.
