Xtream Codes on Gcloud VPS

Why on earth would you want to be so foolish to put your IPTV server on G Compute. Have you no sense? G is master of tracking. Do not be cheap. Get real dedicated servers. NOT dedicated virtual servers.

Lol, quality is not te problem here

Why cheap? This is how economics works, they just look for a way to optimise their expenses, what better that scaling server where you pay per hour per resource used? Cheap is one of the main reasons to exist multiple products on the market, provide better for lower price - this is what i look when i change service(no matter what service) . Also vps is always cheaper than baremetal, are you going cheap when you buy vps instead renting baremetal server ?
I am not advocating gcloud, but everyone is watching you , they are not the first nor the last, even better, they are the only one that doesn't look to sell your data, but they want to use it for themselfs, this is better than selling your data to political parties, scammers, spammers and everyone who is willing to pay.

you're joking right? VPS cheaper than baremetal? absoluetely not! how is a VPS cheaper? you can get a dedicated 4 core 16Gb ram server for less than $ 20.00 a month. the only reason a 4Gb dedicated server costs more is because hosting providers have to waste space for such low end equipment so they have to offset that loss. the only way a VPS is cheaper is they have the lowest available price. but again, thats what cheap is and the practice of being cheap is looking for the lowest price and not taking into consideration other losses. besides, if you cannot spend 20.00 on a dedicated server, you should really should re-evaluate your decision to even spend that $ 5.00 on that VPS to make IPTV server.

believe me, i am always for "optimizing" expenses, but some fundamental rules never change. namely, you get what you pay for. you pay $ 5.00 for a vps instead 20 for a dedicated, then when it run's like crap, thats on you. same goes for anything else. groceries, tools, and even iptv service. you spend 0.50 cent per connection and wonder why stream freezes all the time, sound is off, and cannot even get HD. ? there is and old saying that was once shared with me, "if you cut too many corners then you end up with a circle. this circle is the vicious cycle of failure."

I think that we are lost in translation(english not my lang) - always VPS will be cheaper than baremetal, always. For streaming purposes 5-10-20 usd are prices that are joke, aws and gcloud has some really big resources, and local servers. Wowza are usign gcloud, this should talk something... VPS in ovh is full of shit, everyday it can be locked and removed , vps is going home, Cloud computing is the future, alternative is local hardware
Edit: When i say baremetal, i mean in hosting company, not in my room!

We are in agreement that VPS is priced lower than dedicated / baremetal server. However, price for same specifications is not rated same.
To set the table fair, I try to match as best as possible from same hosting provider. There is 1 dollar difference!
First we have the VPS.

You see the specifications. 6vCPU, 8 Gb RAM, 160 Gb SSD, 5 Tb bandwidth allowance. (They don't even tell you what uplink is or guarantee it's speed!!)

Next we have dedicated / baremetal server.

Same hosting provider!!!

We have 6 physical cores (this is 12 virtual CPU cores), 32 Gb RAM, choice between 2 x 2 Tb HDD or 2 x 240 Gb SSD, unmetered 1 Gbps fair usage (means they do not monitor bandwidth usage, but they do make sure no 1 server gets all bandwidth capacity -> QoS).

So now we discuss again, which is cheaper? You may say VPS because 1 dollar difference, but it's price is 0.0764 per hour and for baremetal dedicated server you get more that 2 almost 3 times more powerful capabilities (CPU, RAM, Storage, Bandwidth) for about 0.0778 per hour.

I think there is no dispute that dollar for dollar, baremetal dedicated server wins. What do you think?
