Done my first XCIPTV rebrand now i just need to know if any kind folk have a list of image sizes for tv guide logos etc... and i can ramp it up a bit. also what good graphic programs are around?

Id use the images in the drawable folder. If you need to make them bigger just go up a little at a time. For a graphic editor id use Photoshop. Iv uploaded pre activated version. See below;
