Complain warning for Forum Spaming

Hi,

So after not been on here for a while I logged back in today to be greated with a notification about Forum Spamming on the 27th April 2023

Moderation Staff issued you a warning for Forum Spamming for 30 points, expiring Oct 28, 2023 at 12:00 AM

Considering its been several weeks since I was last on here I'm not sure how I have committed "Forum Spamming" with 34 posts? Surely the need to actually access the forum to spam it is an important factor.... and considering I wasn't even accessing the forum in April I'm somewhat confused... Is 34 posts since September 2021 too much?

Absolutely unnecessary, if you're happy and want to say thank you, you should use the like button, it's simple

Fair enough but I wasn't just saying "thanks", it was the end of some posts I had made and answered and added a Thanks at the end.

But I'm not going to push it but if possible when someone gets a warning over 1 post, can you call it something else? Its hurtful to be called a Spammer over a single post made almost 1 month before or even a DM to say "Hey please use the like button in future" as a warning insted of been labelled a forum spammer...

Is it really that important to label someone a spammer over 1 post? also taking action weeks after the post too? Seems harsh and very unfriendly action to take against someone who hardly posts. But I understand the rules are there and it was my error but I will think twice now before posting/visiting again...

Don't take it personally. From your point of view, you're right mate.
There are so many members who just don't want to understand it and do it again and again.
So I had to take stronger precautions. They understand it if they can't get in for a certain time.

As I said, don't take the "spammer" personally, it's just predefined in the Forum Warning addon.

So take it easy
