Unrealistic like goals

not sure how getting "75 likes" on some new and unknown forum qualifies someone as a contributor to the scene and therefore grants them access to files that typically are shared for free,, openly, without lofty goals of collecting likes as if they are pokemon, just for the 'reward' of downloading scripts that are already available openly on github..

They're trying to liven up the forums, want to turn it into an actual community by making people talk to each other, however the TIMING is that most people are in kind of rush at this moment due to XC going down and trying their best to find an alternative as soon as possible.

just seems very clickbaity is all.. putting such lofty goals usually just gets a forum full of nonsense posts so people can get their like /post goal and in turn doesnt fill the forum with quality content.. imho

It's not going to fill the forum with senseless likes or senseless posts where people beg for likes.

The background is quite simple, the members should share important and qualitative information and stuff that is useful for everyone. It should be avoided leecher. simply profiting by the work of others without doing anything.

The like prizip is simple, everyone should contribute something good meaningful, everyone should do something, so that he can profite also from the achievements of the others.

As you can see, a member misuse this and try to benefit from the work of others, without having done anything of their own.

Anyone who has no understanding for the whole and disregards the rules, is not welcome here. Everyone is free and no one is forced to use this forum.

The World Wide Web is infinite, so you can look around the others who accept our rules.
