Hi all,
switching everything to SSL with sub domains for every LB seems like unnecessary pain :cool:
Besides, I only want to encrypt some channels (on one or two LB).

So... My very lazy way of doing it, is SSL encryption for the ts stream only (per LB). Playlist links and all the rest will remain http.
It is more flexible, if you don't want all streams/LB to have SSL.

Tested with: VLC, GSE Smart IPTV, IPTV Smarters (both TS/HLS), STB Emu (Android), Lilly Player (Apple).
Haven't tested it with MAG 250/254, I read somewhere in the forum, that they got problem with ssl.

This is dumb.

The initial request is still over HTTP, so you're not really achieving anything other than a "fake" sense of security.

ISP can't see the content from m3u8, but they can from the .ts

During my tests not a single .ts packet is returned over http. Which is my whole idea.

enable https for one LB only
mysql querry:
UPDATE `xtream_iptvpro`.`settings` set `use_https` = '["1","2","3",....,"xyz"]' where `id` = 1;

so no need to add https://$host before /streaming
