Thank you for sharing, this is a good app for me.
If anyone wants to edit the grey pop-up box that appears at login then you can find 3 .XML files at res/layout/activity_terms_and_conditions

Has anyone found the record function on here? I've tried long pressing on the EPG but nothing works?

Unfortunately although I really love the app I am experiencing the same issue with the flood of requests.
It also had an adverse effect on my box where other apps I have using the same service would no longer log in.
Weird.
Could be some kind of supressor from the server due to all the requests from one IP address

I cracked this app a while ago before the XC crackdown and completely forgot about it so I've optimized for XtreamUI

Just download and open the apk in any apk editor

(Download link at the bottom)

How to edit:

Smali / App / Dream / Utils / Constants.smali

Edit line 32 - http://dns : port/ (make sure you leave the / at the end)
