Hi, i have a question about setting up my iptv setup. So i am just starting this project and have read a lot and have set xtream and everything. I want to have my local channels, i have 2 locations where i have on each location fiber 1000/500mbps. Each location has cable channels which i have descrambled and can open in vlc. My plan is to have everything in RAW stream.

I don't understand how main and lb servers work. As i understand everybody has rented a dedicated server and restream channels but they dont have local streams?

So i have 2 pcs on this 2 locations with 400-500mbps up and with xtreme ui main (when i open ports) can stream these channels. Is this a good solution or should i rent a dedicated server and stream from there? What about isps? How can i hide this, using vpn, proxy?

I want to maybe use a dedicated server and host services from there to clients, and somehow push streams from my locations to this server. How do i accomplish this? With or without xtream? Should i connect this dedicated server over vpn with my private servers to push streams and also hide from my isp?

So i have local streams, pcs with xtream, fiber... just i am not sure how to deploy everything.

I hope i have wrote this in the correct way and with forum rules. Thanks for help.

Hi, I would rent out a few servers at a datacenter and stream my local channels to the hosted servers. The hosted servers (main and load balancers) would serve content to your clients. Also consider setting up reverse proxy in front of your hosted servers if you intend to sell on the internet! It’s a good line of defense and any take downs would be on the proxy’s not The main or lbs or worse, on the local machines.if possible use dmca free for proxy. Most often hosted machines would contain content such as vod, series ext and main Has your database. Data centers are much better connected to the internet than your isp, that is, and not limited to there presence on most internet exchanges and ability peer with ISPs that consume data from them, not to mention their highly efficient backbone and multi tera connections to the internet in general. I would defiantly not host client facing machines locally, if you do not want a knock on the door by the boys in blue.

I'd say https is more then enough, most use plain http. Is this serving streams to your load balancers and/or proxies or directly to your clients? If its internal between servers, use anything, moreover, if its a client facing server hide it behind a dmca free reverse proxy. That really depends on your client market legislations and setup.
