Samrt stb without pay for it

I saw this video with these guys using smart stb to watch channel without paying for its license. Anyone knows how to do it?

Please note the solution in that video no longer works and can put other accounts on your TV at risk.

You install the official Smart STB app then you change your DNS to his personal DNS so when the app resolves the authentication server it routes it to a new IP and authenticates using his server in the video.
