Good Day community I would like to know if it's possible to know who is the service provider of someone.. like somewhere inside the code or something...

I managed to get someones hard coded apk and they have such a great service, I would like to also get service the same as them, but I don't know if it's possible to know who is...

Any suggestions?

Depends on the App, If its a single DNS hardcoded app shouldn't be too hard to find however if the app is pointing at a panel that has multi DNs it will be impossible to get the DNS of the service you want.

As i dont think its quite ethically right to do it for you, if you find out which app you have and go to that section on the forums and look at all the posts explaining how to hardcode that specific app you can do the steps backwards i guess.

**UPDATE**
You can of course use wireshark to view your traffic while signing into the service to see what its talking to.

Not to seem rude or to come on to strong but...
1. Were did you get the app?
2. 90% of apks have icons or backgrounds of the service.
3. How did you get the service?

Most of these types of questions usually end in malicious intent (not saying your going to), it just seems odd that you have the service and the apk but you don't know who it is..

As above, if you wish to rip the apk apart you'd need to use APKStudio.

But what are you looking for within the APk?

I suspect, that it is app with hardcoded third party service, to which the OP doesn't have access. The apk creator is reseller of the third party service, and the op is looking to skip reseller. Message me in private and i can check the app for you

I understand everyone's suspicions I don't know if I am breaking an ethical rule over here which it is not my intention. My boss is asking me who is our main competitors service provider in my city, because They Have a service with more than 20k movies and they never fail, and they also have nice iptv with epg.
We would like to get our service from the same source.

If that is not ethical or not possible I am okay with that also, But then I need to get a service at least similar to that or better.

We found a similar VOD service that even has nice 24/7 But it doesn't have iptv, So now I am looking for a way to get 2 services inside the same APK, We use XCIPTV apk but it always kicks us out when we change from VOD to IPTV since they are different services from different providers

That will always happen when you move from TV to VOD (on a seperate server)

To combine them youd need to run all the vod on the same services as the tv. Highly do not recommend that.
Provide excellent service on tv and a good service on vod (separately)

1) decompiling the app will not help you identify their source unless they are just a reseller and using the operator's dns instead of their own
2) decompiling the app will not help you identify the source of the streams or the EPG if the operator has their own server and own service.
3) you could potentially learn the source of the VOD and their credentials for that source if they are restreaming the VOD but there is no guarantee that the VOD source is the same source for the streams or epg.
4) decompiling the app for number 3 would be useless. see the thread in beginner's zone on decrypting streams. just a hint: it's not even as hard as the info in that thread
5) number 3 is exactly why YOU CANNOT RESTREAM VOD CONTENT. it literally defeats the concept of restreaming and being on demand. not possible.
6) if you want really good epg, @Spudnutz has top notch service. you can see his post in Advertising. section.
