Hello mate youll need to calculate how much server size you will need as catchup requires a great deal of memory some rcommend raid 0 servers. me like you im looking at that atm.

I have no problem with that, but I can't do a save on another server. I can only do it on the one I have streamed

Boniasz, can you help with catchup? I can record streams with timeshift but can't play from users player. They see nothing in catchup. Do I need some aditional setup except enable timeshift in channel?

I do this, altho I don't know why you have live channels on one server and catchup on another, that's a massive waste of resources.

I don't have two servers. I have only one. But I have problem setting that one main server for timeshift. I enabled already like you timeshif server for 1 day and I see files recorded in tv_archive. But can' see on client side app nothing in catchup, tried different app too, smarters too. There is no files. Do I need somethin else to setup to make it working except enable timeshif, chose server and enter number of dayis to store? I lose days searching to resolve problem without success.

I have a few dedicated Catchup Servers, set to timeshift only(on the edit server page), then added into the tree under the live stream and the catchup server selected in the drop down menu below "ondemand" and 5 days

Yes I already checked that folder permition. And also tried to change to 777 but it not help. Now tv_archive is 777 and sub folder for channel is 755. 1 min files in chanel folder is 644 default setings. And can't se in client side in athup nothing.

Yes, refreshed. EPG is working but sudenly stoped, i setup only on 2 ch just for test. But before setup EPG cathup not working too.

57GB free from 128. What you mean "decent".

You told me that nothing elese need to setup except to enable timeshift server on channel which want to record, and thats is all. User from app will see files in catchup directory.

Chanel is streaming ok, VOD also ok. Timeshift files are generated, tried 2 diferent channel but only problem is user not see in catchup nothing.

I'm sorry I can't help you further, but it looks like you're using an extremely cheap VPS (I could be wrong) but it sounds like you're doing everything correct. If you want to send me a test line for your app I can have a look.
