Thanks

hardwire router to tv if you dont already. Smart IPTV is propably the worst app, try nanomid or set iptv if you are forced to use smart tv for apps.

I would check in the tv network settings to make sure you are using default gateway provided by your provider.
It could also be an issue from the iptv provider side.

It was all working ok, but then started to buffer like every 10secs, now everything has stopped

Is nanomid an app you install from the lg store on the tv?

It could be more than one reason mate. Internet providers are getting hammered cos of the lockdown. My 500mbps Virgin connection has been dropping all day.

I can upload a test line to your tv for smartiptv for testing purpose. I don't know if the forum rules allow us to share the mac address.

What does that actually do?

It does work, I paid for it, it's just that today it had been buffering all day long and then the channels I had have all stopped working now

To be clear. I believe @Wildbird means he can give you a trial of his own service to see if it makes any difference. So if other IPTV provider is working better or buffer the same. With SIPTV you have to use website to input m3u details and it will upload to your TV (I believe you know that). It can be helpful to see if using different IPTV servers will help since they all are scattered over the world and you really need the one closest to you to reduce latency.

To be honest, having a direct ethernet cable from your router to your TV is the best way to go. (hardwire). Other than that, when you experience buffer, immediately check speedtest to see if the internet is slow in the area or just IPTV. Personally I use www.fast.com (it is from Netflix).

I thought that was what he was suggesting, I'm trying one now, seems ok to be honest, could of just been the one i was using before, was a free one, this one I'm trying now is on a trail with an option to pay monthly afterwards, but it is working very well, and way to many channels 6500 to be precise so theres not a prayer ill be using all of them, to many foreign ones.

I would recommend, in my short experience, SET IPTV. It has a 7 day trial and then just 15 euros lifetime license. Even you will be able to add your list in XC format.
