Hi guys,

The topic title may sound a bit stupid, but I've always wondered what are some optimal specifications for Main Server and Load Balancers. Is there some logic behind choosing the main and load balancers? Should I go for a very good main server, and 10 OK balancers, or let's say, one very good main server and 5 good balancers?

Let's take for example online[dot]net (I don't have it, I am not advertising it, and I don't suggest it), what combinations of servers would you take?

seems you do not know it's about bandwidth upload & download speed !!!! before we can talk about CPU and RAM
LB need upload ( talking about guaranteed upload or shared ) 1 gbit speed port shared possible have 250mbps or 300mbps guaranteed )
firstly focus on calculate upload and download speed, add LB only when need more bandwidth
