Exe file editor or decompiler recommendation

Can someone suggest any application to decompile or edit an executable file to modificate and rebuilt again?

There is no easy way to do EXE files. Some are compressed, some are not. Some are crappy containers (like a zip) and nothing more, others are packed in a special way. Maybe someone else will but there is just TOO much and there isn't any easy tools like for android. Maybe if you were more specific to what EXE you are trying to do, you might get lucky. Word to the wise, bring snacks because you are venturing into a very long and deep rabbit hole.

A couple of programs that may help you:
IDA Pro
OllyDbg
I think Kali Linux has a few things in it also (cant remember off hand).
A few highly customized OS builds like Kali, (cant remember them all).

The most common one is ollydb but as @urgodfather said there is a lot more needs done to an exe before you can open or modify it, like what packer is used , what type of encryption, what type of software made it eg visual basic .net and so on.
