Hey All,

I hail from western canada and i've been getting pretty interested in being involved in the IPTV market. My background is in digital markeitng and web development. I've got a pretty good grasp on the network structure required to run an IPTV service but definitely looking to learn more about the backend side of things. Years ago I dabbled in FTA and bailed once IKS became the standard. Very curious to know how these operations function on the back end. Primarily my first objective is to learn the workarounds that allow you to take a legitimate TV subscription and decrypt the entire stream for rebroadcast. My gut tells me that satelite is the way to go since the entire stream is being broadcast to your dish, so if you were able to work around the card there should be on reason why you couldn't receive all channels at exactly the same time? Modern (licensed) IPTV services only seem to broadcast the channels in use to the customers, so you'd need a LOT of subscriptions to aquire the entire channel lineup. Wheras satelite should, in theory, be able to receive everything provided that you could share the key with all of your DVB tuners.

Really myskillset is more along the networking and server admin side of things. But this is all pretty interesting to me and i'm looking forward to learning more and connecting with people who are more involved in the industry.

As for the marketing side of my business, my company has done quite a lot of work for grey market dispensaries so i'm not unfamiliar with trying to promote content that a lot of the advertisers aren't particularly fond of. So while i'm definitely a newbie when it comes to a lot of this, i'm really looking forward to learning more and seeing if I can find a little niche for myself in this industry.

Looking forward to talking with more of you in the future!
