So my main is behind cloudflare, no content on main, but if i add a domain to cloudflare and assign it to a loadbalancer, I see the lb ip is hidden, but i'm sure i read somewhere in other threads that all data would be routed via cloudflare and likely have issues. Is that true? if so, how to hide ip of lbs?

There are two certainties in life, one is death, and the other is that if you use CloudFlare for streaming you will face problems.
Unless you are using an enterprise plan where the use of IPTV is agreed in the negotiation.
So get ready because the price starts at 4,000 dollars for every 100TB.
Hope this helps.
