Clear cache and data

Hi guys new here I know enough to get by and this is probably a really stupid question but I'm ised to looking the idiot so here goes.
Xciptv logs in fine to my subscription but if I clear cache and data force stop then open app again on lg in screen post my user and pass and it gives me server url incorrect I didnt realise this would wipe the dns if it was hardcoded into app only way to log in then is uninstall and reinstall then logs in fine is there something I'm missing?
Again realise this is probably something simple I'm missing any help much appreciated

Just clear cache. No need to clear data or force stop,
