API hosting questions

Does anyone know if I need to do anything special with NameCheap to host an API for rebranding some apps? I have the Stellar hosting plan and I created a subdomain for hosting but my apps fail to connect to the server. I have tried a few different apps and followed the instructions to a T but still have no luck. I spent about 17 hours so far doing research and working on this and finally gave up. Only thing I haven't done is try to host on a different service or host from home, but I want something reliable and I already pay for a hosting plan with NameCheap.

I can help you setup name cheap, but I dont know if there is a specific problem with use namecheap to host the API's. I am running into problems but no one else has confirmed anything for me.
