You need to know what you want from that BOX

Absolutely! There’s actually lists that prove this with real tests. That 400$ is to cover the costs for a better processor, a dedicated sound processor, better user experience. If you want GOOD, which is what was asked, then the standard always applies. You get what you pay for. If you want “good enough, but I’m cheap as hell,” then get yourself something like a MiBox. If you want “cheap and easy,” then that’s what your ? (fireshit) is.

Haha, my fireshit ? Buddy asked so I gave an option, not everyone runs websites and charges for others work and is able to buy 7000 gold plated boxes thanks tho

Oh I know, bc I’m right there with ya, but I would rather spend 15 bucks more and get more powerful hardware that has more features (Ethernet and google play for example) and I can control completely including but not limited to the OS that the system runs, instead of being a triple S. Not gonna tell you what that one means because I don’t want you to think I’m insulting you specifically. To each their own on opinion BUT as I mentioned before, the OP did say “good” which is a matter of interpretation. To you, it sounds like “good” means good on the wallet (which I don’t disagree) and ridiculously easy (again which I don’t disagree), whereas mine is more literal. Quality by hardware specs, capabilities, features, etc. By my interpretation of “good,” even a MiBox would be better.

I just mentioned a different device then what was said. I actually dont mind the fireshits just for basic watching.. I have a bad eye from a motorcycle accident so HD, fhd haha sometimes the eyes dont tell a diff... yes they did mention Good, but we could argue all day what's good

Im really gonna go on a limb here but the new Tivo Stream 4k, is looking good still in the testing phase
