Request 5 petabytes monthly download

My friend has about 200TB on google cloud storage and a monthly download of 5 petabytes, is there any cheap alternative? Google want 50K$ monthly.

WOW..... you're friend really should get some common sense. Use the search tool and read why you should NOT be using google. Let your friend be the fool. Stay safe and don't waste your time trying to be cheap. If you can't afford to do it right, then don't do it at all or make a growth strategy to get you where you want to be. Either way, stay far far away from your friends magnificent ideas.

Take a look at Mega and their business plan.

They claim its unlimited storage AND unlimited data transfer for like 30 USD a month.

I have not used them myself, but could be one option.

They other option is to build a nice SAN and do it yourself. This i something I would be able to assist you with as its my primary day job.
