Modifications:
There is a lot of room for improvement to minimise the apk size, but resources isn't really a problem for my device to start removing repeated libraries and compressing media files.
I have made it as I required it for use on Fire TV which does not have Google Play Services (to validate my in-app purchase, it is not justified to install play services for this one app), I highly recommend you buy this app if you use it frequently! It helps support the development of IPTV Smarters client
Notes: You will need an xstreamcodes IPTV provider subscription or an m3u containing the IPTV channel links. Many can be found online - but ensure it is auto-updating so that it will refresh when the links become dead. I'd recommend enabling the HW decoder if used on AFTV devices and m3u8 file formats compared to .ts which often provide much better stability on bad connections due to the 10 second split streaming.
UK USERS: If your streams are blank during EPL games (+/- 10 mins) - use an dedicated IP VPN provider or an small reputable VPN provider (ones like Nord may block your service during EPL) you are now able to add this again using an OpenVPN certificate zipped by the app!
