Xtream Codes on Ubuntu 16, Ubuntu 18

Hello,

many V1 Panels are just for Ubuntu 14.04 but not for Ubuntu 16 and 18,

it would be nice if somebody has a solution for this so that it works on other Ubuntu Versions too, the reason is simply that many providers (online.net, OVH..) don`t support Ubuntu 14.04 and when you order a new Server you can`t install the old Ubuntu Version.

i think many would be happy if there is a solution for this.

You Can Not Use ubuntu 16 or 18 , The Files VERSION FOR Xtream Codes v1 Only Compatiable with Ubuntu 14
to Do such Job You need To Decode the Files and Migrate Them One by One to Newer version
For An Example
The Php on Ubuntu 14 is Version 5.x which is the Same php files Written for Xtream Code v1
The Php On Ubuntu 16 and 18 are Higher Version , Even if you were able to Re write all the Php Files , it might Have Bugs for it
This is only an example
Imagine all Other Packages Beside PHP , MYsql , etc .....

it makes no difference what ubuntu we use, the problem is that this version is no longer supported and there is no auto install for it trough online.net or OVH anymore.

You can use Ubuntu 14.04 on OVH. You just have to learn to install the OS yourself and not use a auto installer. Just load up your KVM attach the .iso and install. I am sure its the same at other places just look for their KVM or IPMI.

Not really, but it's not as simple as running a script and pressing y.

For example, see this for getting php 5 setup easily on ubuntu 18. https://vitux.com/how-to-install-php5-and-php7-on-ubuntu-18-04-lts/

It just shows there is a real lack of technical ability amongst a lot of iptv providers when they say things like this cannot be done.

Worldstream have an auto installer, you can choose Ubuntu 14, 16 or 18.
